I take this opportunity to compliment your company and tell you how pleased I am with my LCI Model 80 Clays Thrower. I've now been the proud owner for almost nine months and have cycled probably in excess of 2500 targets through it. Last summer I spent a considerable amount of time reading, researching, calling and corresponding about electric/automatic throwers. This was caused by the fact that early last year, I had made the mistake of purchasing a cheap, bare-bones electric thrower from a sports catalog. The only good thing I can say about that experience is that thankfully, they allowed me to return that machine which never worked properly, for a refund.
I've had experience shooting over electric throwers that cost 3-4 times the price of my LCI 80 but I simply could not justify the expense of one of those machines for my private personal usage AND those are not as portable and do not allow variation in the throwing. I own a half dozen different kinds of "elbow grease throwers" but that puts me at the mercy of finding someone willing to come over to pull and shoot with me.
My experience with the LCI Model 80 has been a real pleasure from day one! For the first time, I can shoot clays until I literally get tired of shooting (not pulling) - and I don't have to recruit a pal to take turns pulling! All this at a fraction of the cost of machines that are more complicated to operate and limited in function. I have been pleasantly surprised that I can literally shoot all weekend without a battery recharge. This experience is like changing from a push-reel lawnmower to a riding mower - except it costs less. This has also made "Grampy" quite a bit more popular with my children and grandchildren, who have come to be better wing shooters than I ever was. What a glorious way to spend quality time with family and friends. The only thing that has suffered is my golf game - I'd rather shoot clays than golfballs.
Dealing with Tom Lovell and Jason Nolley has also been a plus. This is like the good old days in my small home town where we traded with our neighbors and if we had a question, we called and got an answer right then. I wish you guys all the success in the world, you really have a fine product!"
